This class was very interesting and very informative. I never realized how much information you need, o be a good driver.
Even though I am not driving yet, I am now aware of what other drivers are and are not doing. I now see the things I thought were the norm, are not. I never realized before how many things can cause a driver to make the wrong decisions and how many distractions there are.
Because of this class, I now pay more attention to traffic lights and signs. I also have watched how pedestrians cross the roads. Hopefully this will make me more alert when I drive.
Having never been behind a wheel it was very challenging to learn about the different controls of a car and how to use them properly. Knowing that not doing one thing the right way could cause an accident, was very eye0opening. I learned by doing what we were taught could prevent an accident or lessen the effect of one.
It was very interesting to see how drivers react to other drivers. I’ve driven with people who have yelled at other drivers or who have given hand gestures. I now realized how dangerous this can be.
Having information explained to us, then seeing it on the tape helped put it into perspective and seeing it helped me understand it better.
Mr. Prince took his time giving information and answering any questions we had. I learned so much in this class and I know there’s so much more I could learn. Hopefully with experience this will come to me.
I wish the class was longer. I feel there is much more information that would be helpful to a new driver.
